Professor talks permafrost microbiology in Germany

Corien Bakermans, assistant professor of microbiology at Penn State Altoona, was invited to give a seminar and lead a discussion group at an international meeting this month. The MicroPerm workshop was held in Potsdam, Germany, and focused on permafrost microbiology.

MicroPerm is a project that seeks to establish a network of scientists working in the field of permafrost microbiology.
