Darius Prince named All-American in basketball

Penn State Greater Allegheny junior guard Darius Prince was recently named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American in basketball at a ceremony at Nemacolin Woodlands. Prince is among 10 student-athletes selected for first team honors from USCAA schools coast to coast. He is the first basketball player in the school’s history to receive this honor. Prince averaged 22.5 points per game and was named USCAA honorable mention All-American for the 2009-10 season. “This is a tremendous honor for Darius and the entire Penn State Greater Allegheny Athletic Department,” said Athletic Director Jim Chester. Prince is pursuing a degree in administration of justice at Penn State Greater Allegheny and is from West Mifflin, Pa.
