WPSU announces Comcast 'video on demand' schedule for early May

Comcast cable will offer several shows produced by Penn State Public Broadcasting on its Video on Demand service in the coming weeks.

Available from May 3 to June 6: “Bridge Safety,” (2008). The horrifying images of Minnesota's bridge collapse in 2007 raise a frightening question: Could it happen in Pennsylvania? Pennsylvania has nearly six thousand bridges categorized as in need of repair. Watch experts discuss the plight of PA bridges.

Available from May 3 to June 6: “Galliker's Ice Cream,” (2008). When it comes to ice cream, everyone has a favorite flavor. But what makes it so tasty? What’s the secret ingredient? Join Charlie Gudeman at Galliker’s Dairy in Altoona to answer these questions and to see how ice cream is made.
