A cool way to support kids with cancer this summer

July 03, 2012

This summer, Turkey Hill Dairy is giving central Pennsylvania residents and visitors a cool way to support children and families facing cancer. Through Labor Day, Turkey Hill is changing the name of its hand-dipped ice cream flavor Fudge Ripple to “Four Diamonds Fudge.” The company will donate part of the proceeds of every purchase of a dish or cone of the special flavor at any of the 14 participating locations across central Pennsylvania to the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.

A special premiere event for Four Diamonds Fund families to sample Four Diamonds Fudge was held last Friday at the Turkey Hill Experience in Columbia. Four Diamonds families, staff and Turkey Hill representatives were on hand to share the “first taste” of the special ice cream flavor.

Throughout the summer, each participating location also will give customers the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a year’s supply of Turkey Hill ice cream. For list of participating locations and contest details, go to www.pennstatehershey.org/fourdiamonds online.
