Weather issues prompt Admissions, Nittany Lion Club to extend dates

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Undergraduate Admissions announced today (Oct. 31) that it will look at prospective students' extenuating circumstances associated with Hurricane Sandy that may have delayed their application process. Nov. 30 is the deadline for priority application, and those applicants who still are able to complete their applications by that date are encouraged to do so. Also, the Penn State World Campus application deadline for online admission is today. However, that deadline will be extended to prospects who have started their applications but were unable to complete the process because of weather-related issues. For more information, go to
