Committee recommends next phase of East Halls renovation
Final plan approval and expenditure of funds for the next phase of the long-term initiative to renovate the East residence halls at University Park was greenlighted to proceed today (Feb. 20) by Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning.

Board committee recommends approval of 2020-21 room and board rates
Penn State's benchmark room and board rate for the 2020-21 academic year — based on a standard double room and the most common meal plan — would increase by $200 per semester, or 3.52%, over 2019-20 rates, under a plan approved today (Feb. 20) by the Penn State Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning.

The College of the Liberal Arts inducted 125 students as Paterno Fellows and Schreyer Scholars on Feb. 12 as part of an innovative landmark program offered jointly by the college and the Schreyer Honors College.
