Penn State to recognize class of 2020 with virtual commencement ceremony

In response to the growing coronavirus pandemic, orders from the state government and recommendations from global public health organizations, Penn State will hold its spring 2020 commencement ceremony via livestream on May 9. The virtual ceremony will recognize all Penn State undergraduate students and all graduate students in the Penn State Graduate School.

The University is committed to providing opportunities to invite the Class of 2020 back for in-person celebrations when public health guidelines allow.  Full story

Enrolling in 2FA is easy and should take less than 10 minutes. It can help stop cyberattacks by adding a second level of identity verification via a push notification sent to a device authorized by the user. Penn State student leaders share message on importance of completing 2020 census

Penn State student leaders shared a message Friday for all Penn State students about the importance of completing the 2020 census during this period of remote learning. “We know most of you are not living near your campuses right now, but the Census Bureau emphasizes the importance of counting yourselves at the place where you live and sleep most of the time,” they wrote.  Full story

Campus Recreation, a unit of Penn State Student Affairs, rolled out the first ever ESports intramural league for the Spring 2020 semester.
