Penn State Brandywine graduates receive degrees virtually

As Penn State conferred degrees upon its graduates during a virtual commencement ceremony on May 9, twin sisters Chloe and Claudia Przybylski celebrated in the suitably decorated living room of their home with their parents, Sam and Barbara. The Penn State Brandywine students each donned their cap and gown, and at the appropriate time, their mother handed them a piece of paper representing their diploma.  Full story

Institute awards 32 computational and data sciences seed grants

The Institute for Computational and Data Sciences, in conjunction with several Penn State colleges, awarded more than $725,000 in seed grants to fund 32 new computational and data sciences projects. The 57 researchers involved in the awards represent 12 Penn State colleges and 31 academic departments.   Full story
