Penn State Laureate David Witwer to present 'Searching for Jimmy Hoffa'
David Witwer, 2020-21 Penn State Laureate, will give a virtual presentation titled "Searching for Jimmy Hoffa: The Disappearance of America's Most Notorious Labor Leader and Why It Still Matters Today" for the Penn State Brandywine community at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Brandywine campus to host virtual admissions program for prospective students
Prospective Penn State Brandywine students and their families are invited to attend a virtual admissions program from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15.

Penn State Great Valley to host virtual presentation on historical recipes
Marissa Nicosia, assistant professor of renaissance literature at Penn State Abington, will share recipes from manuscript recipe books produced between 1600 and 1800, in a virtual presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 10, as part of Penn State Great Valley's NoonTimeU webinar series.

Faculty Senate votes to reinstate alternative grading for spring 2021
After considerable debate at its first meeting of the semester, the Penn State Faculty Senate voted to implement an optional, opt-in alternative grading system for the spring 2021 semester. The 79-62 vote reinstates Senate Policy 49-70, which established the alternative grading system previously implemented during the spring and fall 2020 semesters to provide flexibility to undergraduate students adversely impacted by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Penn State Intersectionality Symposium speakers, program announced
LEAADS@PSU, a network of women faculty committed to leading advocacy and action for a diverse leadership at Penn State, has announced the program and speakers for its two-day symposium, "Addressing Intersectionality to Transform Leadership at Penn State," on Feb. 19 and 26.
