Penn State has announced plans to transition its masking and physical distancing requirements on June 28 to more closely align with changes recently announced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Pennsylvania Department of Health that relax COVID-19 restrictions for fully vaccinated individuals.

2021 engineering grads gain experience through capstone projects, internships
Of the 89 students recently celebrated at Penn State Brandywine's spring commencement ceremony, seven earned their degrees in engineering—all of whom gained real-world experience through internships and capstone projects prior to entering the workforce.

Abington professor selected for National Endowment for the Humanities grant
Marissa Nicosia, assistant professor of Renaissance literature at Penn State Abington, has received a highly competitive National Endowment for the Humanities grant for her research and writing toward a book examining the intertextual links among domestic writing, food culture and early modern English poetry.

The Commission for Women; the Commission on Racial/Ethnic Diversity; the Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Equity; and the Dis/ability Access Initiative working group are accepting appointment nominations through June 28. Students especially are encouraged to consider this leadership opportunity.
