Penn State's COVID-19 Operations Control Center has developed a comprehensive COVID-19 mitigation strategy for the transitional month of May and the summer 2021 semester for all campuses that includes vaccine consideration, masking, testing, contact tracing, and quarantine and isolation.

As part of Penn State's continued commitment to student access and affordability, Housing and Food Services, a University auxiliary service, is piloting a LiveOn Student Success Grant to support need-based students residing on campuses across the commonwealth for the 2021-22 academic year.

Some women who have gotten vaccinated for COVID-19 have noticed a startling development ― lumps that in the past might have meant cancer. But Penn State Health experts say that temporary swelling of the lymph nodes is normal and expected.

Penn State commencements held on campuses throughout Pennsylvania
Penn State celebrated the accomplishments of graduates during its spring 2021 commencement ceremonies May 7 through May 9. This spring the University awarded approximately 14,400 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing associate, baccalaureate, master, law, doctoral and medical degrees. All figures listed are estimates as of April 5; totals do not include the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
