Mouthwashes, oral rinses may inactivate human coronaviruses
The results of a recent study from Penn State College of Medicine suggest that certain oral antiseptics and mouthwashes may have the ability to inactivate human coronaviruses. These products may be useful for reducing the amount of virus in the mouth after infection and reducing the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
