Students moving out of on-campus residence halls now have the option of having their belongings packed, stored and shipped, Penn State Housing and Food Services announced.

Penn State to allocate COVID-19 federal emergency aid grants to 25,000 students
More than 25,000 Penn State students will receive cash grants of up to $1,000 each in an initial round of funding from the University's share of the federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund — money that will help students cover expenses related to disruptions in campus operations brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Preparations and scenario planning continue for return to campus and work
Penn State task groups are continuing to prepare for a coordinated phased return to on-campus working, learning and living for students and employees across each of the University's campuses. From social distancing procedures, adjustments to on-campus operations and campus life, mask and hygiene practices to testing and tracing, isolation and treatment procedures, the groups are working through a variety of needs to support the health and well-being of community members and provide an excellent education for Penn State students.

University Libraries offers summer workshops on Open Access, copyright topics
Penn State University Libraries' Office of Scholarly Communications and Copyright has announced its summer slate of workshops covering Penn State's new Open Access policy as well as copyright and fair use topics. Offered May 27 through June 10, the free virtual workshops are open to Penn State students, faculty and staff.

New teacher leadership graduate certificate offers expanded career opportunities
The Penn State College of Education and Penn State World Campus are offering a four-course, 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Teacher Leadership that meets Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements for a Teacher Leaders Endorsement for certified Level I and II teachers.
