Weikert, deputy commander, 1st Naval Construction Division, speak about the role engineering plays in the United States Navy. Weikert discussed his experiences as the deputy commander and chief of staff of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force Engineer Group, Camp Fallujah, Iraq, providing general engineering and construction services in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
