An audience of approximately 1,800 was in attendance at Eisenhower Auditorium on Thursday, Oct. 9, for the 7:30 performance of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The organization, led by artistic director and distinguished jazz trumpter Marsalis, is near the end of a long tour across North America, and features 15 jazz musicians in a traditional big band format.
