Penn State football players Miles Dieffenbach and Mike Farrell were greeted by an estimated crowd of 2,500 fans as they made their way into the Lasch Football facility on the University Park campus for early-morning workouts on July 31. Fans from around the region showed up early for 'Rise and Rally', to show support for the football team.

One of the many ducks who spend their summer near University House on Penn State's University Park campus escaped the heat on July 6 with a swim in the pond adjacent to the oldest building on campus. University House was completed in 1864 and was home to eleven Penn State presidents.Today the home is part of the Hintz Family Alumni Center.
