The military teaches lifelong skills, and many of these skills are transferable in becoming an entrepreneur. Effectively managing risk, operating under pressure, and being resourceful are just a few qualities needed in both business and the military.

Hear from a panel of local veteran business owners on how they successfully started their own businesses during Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Penn State from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Happy Valley LaunchBox powered by PNC Bank.

Panelists include: Brad Cornali, owner and CEO, Training 4 Life; O.J. Johnston, owner and CEO, OJ Johnston Consulting; Jayme Orr Rhodes, CEO, Serviam Construction LLC; David Panko, owner/investment adviser/financial planner, Panko Wealth Management; and Eugene Weller, owner, Allstate Insurance. Kelly Hunt, a veteran, business owner and district director of the U.S. Small Business Administration, will present and moderate this event. Register here.
