Comprehensive Business Plan Writing Course

6 p.m., to 8 p.m. Monday, December 2
Penn State Schuylkill, Student Community Center, Creekside Corner

Every business needs to have a written business plan. Whether it’s to provide direction or attract investors, a business plan is critical for the success for your organization. But, where do you start?

Penn State Schuylkill will host a session by Savas Logothetides, owner of Wheel Restaurant and executive director of Pottsville Area Development Corporation (PADCO), who will show participants step-by-step how to formulate your own business plan starting with the executive summary. He will break down each section of a business plan and show you how each of those sections strategically informs another.

Savas will encourage you to think through the critical issues in an organized way and sharpen your business skills. This program is a must for anyone who is thinking about starting a business, turning their hobby into a business, or looking for investors. We also recommend this program for those interested in learning about entrepreneurship.

This course is split into two sessions: Monday, Dec. 2, and Monday, Dec. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. both evenings.

Registration is $40. Sign up today by contacting Susan Williams, LionLaunch program coordinator, at 570-385-6065 or sxw831@psu.edu.
