Fans are encouraged to be loud, proud and respectful

Many visiting teams and fans will be on campus this weekend

The men's and women's basketball teams will be among the many teams in action this weekend as Penn State is set to host 16 athletic events from Friday through Sunday at University Park. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With a full slate of athletic events on Penn State's University Park campus this weekend, fans are encouraged to remember that respect for the visiting teams and their fans should be a part of any game day experience. Fans should plan to arrive early and should review parking availability, as the University is set to host 16 athletic events from Friday through Sunday.

Athletic competition this weekend includes:

Friday, Feb. 2 

  • Women’s tennis vs. Columbia, Tennis Center (4 p.m.)
  • Men’s and women’s swimming and diving vs. Villanova, Natatorium (5 p.m.)
  • Men’s and women’s indoor track and field hosting the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup, Multi-Sport Facility (5 p.m.)
  • Men’s ice hockey vs. Notre Dame, Pegula Ice Arena (6:30 p.m.)
  • Men’s volleyball vs. Ball State, Rec Hall (7 p.m.)

Saturday, Feb. 3

  • Softball Community Day, Holuba Hall (9 a.m.)
  • Men’s and women’s indoor track and field hosting the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup, Multi-Sport Facility (11 a.m.)
  • Men’s tennis vs. Buffalo (noon) and Temple (4 p.m.)
  • Men’s lacrosse vs. Villanova, Holuba Hall (1 p.m.)
  • Men’s ice hockey vs. Notre Dame, Pegula Ice Arena (4 p.m.)
