Chris Tate, a senior majoring in meteorology and atmospheric and science, said he chose Penn State because he could immediately become involved in the a wide range of weather-related activities on campus. So, naturally, when COVID-19 shut down his club’s operations in the spring of 2020, he knew he had to do something about it for the next generation of Penn State students.
