Biobehavioral Health graduate receives Alumni Achievement Award

Brittany Hawkins, a 2008 graduate of the Department of Biobehavioral Health, is one of this year's recipient of the Penn State Alumni Association's Alumni Achievement Award. Hawkins is co-founder and CEO of Pathways Community Living, an agency in Pittsburgh that provides support for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Penn State Law alumna honored with 2018 Penn State Alumni Achievement Award

The Penn State Alumni Association will honor Rebecca Buckley-Stein, Penn State Law class of 2015, with the Alumni Achievement Award. Buckley-Stein currently works as a staff attorney with California Rural Legal Assistance Inc., where she fights for the rights and civil liberties of low-income individuals and their families.

10 Penn Staters to be honored with Alumni Achievement Award

The Penn State Alumni Association will honor 10 prominent young alumni at the Alumni Achievement Awards on March 23. Alumni Achievement Award recipients are nominated by an academic college or campus and invited by the president of the University to return to Penn State to share their expertise with students and the University community. Honorees demonstrate to students that Penn State alumni succeed in exceptional fashion at an early age.

Ashley Schroeder, a 2005 Penn State Altoona graduate, was among the nine recipients of the Penn State Alumni Association’s 2017 Alumni Achievement Award honored during an award ceremony March 31 at the University Park campus. The Alumni Achievement Award recognizes alumni 35 years of age and younger for their extraordinary professional accomplishments.

Mechanical engineering technology alumnus Gregory A. Zimmerman is a 2016 recipient of Penn State’s Alumni Achievement Award, a celebration of accomplished alumni age 35 or younger. Zimmerman, a 2002 Penn State Behrend graduate, is director of global application and product engineering for SKF Aerospace.

Tech entrepreneur Fanini honored with Alumni Achievement Award

Chris Fanini, co-founder and CTO of the San Francisco startup Weebly and a 2012 graduate of Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST), has played a leading role in helping millions of people create websites easily and at minimal cost. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was recently honored with the Alumni Achievement Award by the Penn State Alumni Association.
