UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State President Eric J. Barron will host a virtual Town Hall event at 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 8, to share updates on the University’s ongoing progress and answer questions from community members about education, prevention, support and response efforts around sexual misconduct at Penn State.
The Town Hall will be streamed at https://LiveEvents.psu.edu and will be archived online for later viewing. Questions can be submitted in advance anonymously through Google Forms at: https://forms.gle/qKVxdkiJFmbkFf2U8.
While the event will be primarily geared toward students, Penn State faculty and staff are welcome to attend and submit questions in advance.
Joining President Barron will be staff members from key offices and a student from a campus organization focused on this critical issue:

As a priority throughout Barron’s presidency, the University has initiated a series of efforts related to sexual misconduct prevention and response. At the Town Hall, Barron will provide an overview of progress in key areas such as education and prevention measures, ongoing review of policies and processes, and more. Panelists also will answer questions from the community and discuss causes and prevention of sexual assault, mitigation plans, related laws and University policies, support and advocacy for survivors, and student engagement on combatting sexual violence.
