University Health Services Pharmacy now accepting walk-ins

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State’s University Health Services (UHS), a unit of Penn State Student Affairs, offers numerous services and items at its pharmacy located inside the Student Health Center on the University Park campus. 

The pharmacy is now accepting walk-ins and is open during the following times: 

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

  • Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

  • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

  • Pharmacy curbside pick-up is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Please note that all other services offered at the Student Health Center, including clinical services are by appointment only. 

All students, and University employees/retirees and their dependent child or child covered under Penn State insurance plan, may utilize the UHS Pharmacy. First-time pharmacy customers must complete either the student or employee/retiree enrollment form. 

The pharmacy also has an over-the-counter store that offers items such as pain relief medication, cold/allergy medicine, vitamins, acne medication, menstrual products, emergency contraceptives tablet, hand sanitizers, and more. The full list of over-the-counter items is available online. Purchases are available for pick-up only unless they are mailed with a prescription. Please note that the mailing option is only available to employees and retirees. 

The pharmacy accepts various prescription insurance plans, including employee/retiree plans, CVS/Caremark and Freedom Blue Medicare Advantage through Highmark. Please see our billing webpage for the most up to date list of accepted insurances.
