Transportation Services announces Labor Day service changes for Sept. 6

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no CATA campus or community service, there will be no Campus Shuttle service, and weekend parking regulations will be in effect on Monday, Sept. 6. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In observance of the Labor Day holiday, the following changes to Transportation Services' office hours and campus transit services will be in effect on Monday, Sept. 6:

  • The Transportation Services Office will be closed.
  • Fleet Operations will be closed, with no Fleet vehicle pickup available.
  • There will be no CATA campus service or community service.
  • There will be no Campus Shuttle service.

Weekend parking regulations will be in effect on Monday, which means that faculty/staff and student permit holders may park in all lots normally available to them during evening/weekend hours. Visitor parking will be available at the standard $1 per hour rate at the East, HUB, Nittany and West decks.

Overnight restrictions between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for the Commuter lots will remain in effect, and all reserved parking spaces such as ADA, service/delivery, etc. will remain reserved.
