UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Registration is now open for The Center for Arts and Crafts fall art classes and workshops. The center offers a variety of classes and workshops, including wheel thrown pottery, drawing, advanced drawing, stained glass, dance, crochet, recycled arts and painting. All classes are designed for beginners and intermediates and are taught by Penn State students majoring in art or art education, graduate students, and professional artists. Class sizes are small, and classes are offered in a relaxed atmosphere.

In-person classes are broken into two sessions. Session 1 begins the week of Sept. 13; session 2 begins the week of Oct. 25.

In addition to in-person classes, the center is again offering take and make craft kits. Take-and-make craft kits include all the supplies to create a project on your own at home. Projects range from paint your own pottery and canvas painting to scrapbooking and card making. Kits can be reserved by emailing craftcenter@psu.edu

In-person classes and take-home kits are open to Penn State students, faculty, and staff and attendees must have a valid Penn State ID. Email the Center for Arts and Crafts for questions or to make reservations for classes or take and make kits.
