Conference talk to reveal new features of Raman spectroscopy

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A group of Penn State researchers, led by Maxwell T. Wetherington, staff scientist with the Penn State Materials Research Institute, will give an invited virtual talk at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, at the Molecular Spectroscopy in Practice: Raman and IR Imaging Theory and Applications" conference.

The title of the talk is “Heavy Metal Raman Scattering: Sh(r)edding Light on Quantum Confined 2D Polar Metals” and will focus on newly discovered features of Raman spectroscopy.
