Penn State Lehigh Valley to host virtual, in-person admissions events

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State Lehigh Valley will host both virtual and in-person admissions events for prospective students this summer.

virtual information session for prospective students is available for current high school juniors and seniors, but open to all students interested in applying to Penn State, including all 20 campuses. Students will learn how to apply to Penn State, explore the majors offered, and hear about the University-wide 2+2 plan. A virtual tour of the campus will be shown as part of the program. The virtual information session will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15.

Transfer Thursday will be held virtually via Zoom for those interested in transferring to Penn State from another college or university. During the program students will learn how to apply to Penn State, explore more than 275 academic programs, learn more about the transfer credit process, and speak with a transfer admission counselor. Transfer Thursday will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 17.

In-person On-Campus Tours will be available for individual families throughout July and August. Tours are open to both prospective and admitted students. This is the perfect way to experience the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus firsthand. Each student is welcome to bring a maximum of two guests (total party of three) for tours. Pre-registration is required at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a campus tour. More information about the campus tour visit requirements is available on the Penn State Lehigh Valley Admissions Events page.

Virtual Spend a Summer Evenings are a great way to start exploring Penn State from the comfort of home. Connect with admissions staff about Penn State’s 275+ majors and unique campus system, including how you can begin your journey at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus as part of the 2+2 program, or spend all four years at one campus. Two sessions will be offered:

  • 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 14
  • 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5

These open house events for prospective students provide the opportunity to learn about admissions, student financial aid, academics and student activities. Attending these events will provide interested students with a better understanding of all the exciting opportunities at Penn State.

For all virtual events, students must register in advance and will receive a link to the session via a confirmation email.
