Cunningham to monitor virtual science education event

Christine Cunningham, professor of practice of education and engineering, and a member of the National Assessment Governing Board, will be a moderator for a virtual event at 1 p.m. May 25 with discussion and analysis of the 2019 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Science results for grades four, eight and 12.

The virtual release will feature the 2019 NAEP results and additional science-related findings from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and questions from leaders in the science education field answered by Cunningham and Cary Sneider, a Governing Board alumnus. Their answers and discussion will highlight what the results mean for science education and America’s students. Register here.
