ALTOONA, Pa. — The student editors of "Hard Freight" have announced the spring 2021 issue of the Penn State Altoona literary arts magazine. "Hard Freight" showcases undergraduate poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, visual art, and multimedia works.
A special feature in this semester’s issue is “In My America,” a college-wide collaborative poem comprised of lines written by Penn State Altoona students, faculty and staff about their views of and visions for the United States. Text and audio versions of the poem are included.
Students interested in serving on the "Hard Freight" staff should enroll in ENGL 209, a one-credit experiential course that may be repeated up to eight times.
