Staff reminded to review, update goals as part of end-of-year review process

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Now is a great time to review your goal progress and make any necessary changes to existing goals. If you have any goals associated with other review years that are no longer relevant but showing as “in progress,” please mark them “complete” so they do not appear as part of your end-of-year review. The end-of-year process will begin mid-May, so now is the time to meet with your manager and/or employees to review performance together.

Please Note: All goals that are marked “complete” must be submitted and approved by your manager. The Adding or Updating Goals in Workday Knowledge Base article will guide you through the process.

If an employee has not yet entered their goals into Workday, please enter them and get the goals approved by Sunday, May 16. Individuals who do not have their goals submitted and approved will not receive the end-of-year process in Workday. Refer to the Knowledge Base article, Setting Goals and Expectations, for detailed instructions on entering goals in Workday or watch the eLearning module, WKL 114A: Setting Goals & Expectations in Workday (Managers & Individual Contributors).

Full-time staff employees and their managers are welcome to contact HR Services with questions as it relates to this year’s performance review cycle by calling 814-865-1473 or by submitting an inquiry via WorkLion.
