Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute presents “Enhanced Models of Translating Research to Policymakers" at its next Translational Science Seminar Series webinar from noon to 1 p.m. on April 15.

In this seminar, Taylor Scott will address how a comprehensive science translation strategy includes researcher interactions in addition to effective science communication and dissemination. This presentation will describe theories leading to the development of a replicable science translation model, the Research-to-Policy Collaboration and key findings from evaluating science translation practices with randomized designs. Scott is an assistant research professor in the Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center and the co-director of the Research-to-Policy Collaboration.

Charleen Hsuan, who offers health policy impact consultations through the institute, will moderate the seminar. Learn more and request a consultation here.
