Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute seminar is April 15

Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute presents “Enhanced Models of Translating Research to Policymakers" at its next Translational Science Seminar Series webinar from noon to 1 p.m. on April 15. 

In this seminar, Taylor Scott will address how a comprehensive science translation strategy includes researcher interactions in addition to effective science communication and dissemination. This presentation will describe theories leading to the development of a replicable science translation model, the Research-to-Policy Collaboration and key findings from evaluating science translation practices with randomized designs. Scott is an assistant research professor in the Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center and the co-director of the Research-to-Policy Collaboration.
