UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A two-day webinar featuring nine Penn State alumni will offer “Career Tips from the Pros” as part an effort to support students in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.

The back-to-back sessions, scheduled March 24 and 25, focus on public relations and advertising, respectively. Both sessions begin at 6 p.m. and are scheduled to last 90 minutes.

The sessions are free and advance registration is required. Information about the series and registration information may be found online.

Alumni participants include: Joe Berwanger, CBS-TV; Katie Blitz, DKC; Lauren Connolly, BBDO; Kathy Heasley, Heasley & Partners; Steve Lampert, AstraZeneca; Scott Nulty, a U.S. Senate legislative aide; Rachel Steinberg, Madison Square Garden; and Bailey Templin. Alumna Suzanne Schulner of Game Show Network will serve as moderator for both sessions.

During each event, students will hear from alumni who work in the respective field, how alumni got their start, how students can make meaningful career connections, and what to expect in the workplace.

The sessions were coordinated by the Bellisario College’s Ad/PR Alumni Network.
