UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A series of webinars featuring Penn State alumni who are leaders in the communications industry discussing their expertise about creating content continues March 2 with four alumni focusing on social media and digital journalism.
The hour-long session — the fourth in the Creating Content in 2021 series — begins at 6 p.m. on Zoom.
Panelists for the session are: Ryan Beckler, deputy head of social media, NBC News; Catherine Driza, senior social producer, “The Drew Barrymore Show”; Derek Major, digital editor, Black Enterprise Magazine; and Jen Simons, executive vice president/head of production, development and programming, Barstool Sports.
The session will be moderated by Ron Wagner, a member of the Alumni Society Board in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. The five-part series was created by the Bellisario College alumni board.
