Student Athlete Spotlight: Logan Wagner

February 15, 2021

DUBOIS, Pa. — Athletes have sacrificed the opportunity to participate in their sport, yet they’ve remained dedicated to their training and to their academic success. Penn State DuBois student-athletes are no different and have continued to work overtime to achieve their goals amid COVID restrictions.

The latest Student Athlete Spotlight features Logan Wagner.

Wagner plays first base on the Penn State DuBois baseball team and is a wildlife technology major. He is a graduate of East Juniata High School from Liverpool, Pennsylvania.

Wagner plans to attend Penn State DuBois for three years, finishing up a degree in wildlife and fishery sciences at University Park in his fourth year. His athletic career goal is to win three championship rings with the Penn State DuBois Lions.

“I love the family atmosphere of the baseball team,” Logan said, “I also wanted to be a part of a successful program and be on a smaller campus so, DuBois was the perfect place.”

Logan stays motivated in all aspects of life, inspired by his time as an athlete.  He said, “Participating in athletics has kept me active through the years. Even if I don’t have a team practice, I’m always trying to find time to practice on my own to get better.”
