Penn State Altoona offers spring Business Bootcamp

ALTOONA, Pa. — The Business Bootcamp at Penn State Altoona is back. Held virtually, the Bootcamp is open to entrepreneurs in all development stages and will provide resources and education to help turn ideas into successful businesses.

This eight-week series will help entrepreneurs become business-ready by giving free, professional support through mentors and speakers.

The first session will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17. Subsequent classes take place each Wednesday through May 5. Bootcamp participants will be eligible to participate in the Bootcamp Business Plan Competition, with a chance to win up to $5,000 in prize money to help fund their business.

The Business Bootcamp is presented by the Altoona LaunchBox Supported by the Hite Family and is part of the Invent Penn State initiative.
