UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State has announced the timetable and requirements for students to move into on-campus residences ahead of the resumption of in-person classes on Feb. 15.
Penn State Housing is emailing students directly with dates, procedures and requirements ahead of the February move-in. At University Park campus, new students will begin moving in on Feb. 9 and returning students will start to move in on Feb. 11. Move-in dates for Commonwealth Campuses will vary by location.
Before returning to campus, all students are required to participate in COVID-19 testing and have a negative result from a University-provided test on file prior to move-in. Self-test kits will be shipped to students at no cost. Students can learn more and get started by visiting the testing and support page on virusinfo.psu.edu.
New and returning students must schedule their move-in date and time in advance via eLiving.
All on-campus students are reminded that they will not be permitted to move in unless their arrival status on eLiving shows a green checkmark and listed as “Ready.”
As part of the University’s efforts to minimize the potential spread of the coronavirus, students are asked to limit the number of individuals accompanying them, and roommates should coordinate their arrival times in order to avoid unnecessary contact between family members.
While on campus, students and those helping them to move in are required to wear face masks and practice physical distancing from other parties at all times.
