Penn State Altoona to host art faculty showcase

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will host an art faculty exhibition from Feb. 4 through March 28 in the McLanahan and Sheetz Galleries of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Penn State Altoona’s art faculty provide courses that teach an understanding of sculpture, painting, graphic design and more. This exhibition will showcase artwork created in each faculty member’s preferred discipline.

Exhibiting faculty include Associate Teaching Professor of Visual Arts Susan Marie Brundage, Assistant Teaching Professor of Visual Arts Sophie Brenneman, part-time Instructor in Visual Arts Peter Mullen, Distinguished Professor of Visual Arts Rebecca Strzelec, part-time Lecturer in Art William Wellman, part-time Lecturer in Visual Arts Michelle Ettrick, and Graphic Designer Misty Wilt.

The Galleries are open Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at 814-949-5452 for more information.
