Berks LionSide Chat features interview with retiring chancellor

WYOMISSING, Pa. — The final Penn State Berks LionSide Chat for 2020 will feature an interview with Chancellor R. Keith Hillkirk, who is retiring at the end of the year after 15 years with Penn State.

The upcoming session is titled “R. Keith Hillkirk: Perspective, Reflections, and Lessons Learned” and will air 12:15–1:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14.

In this special LionSide Chat, Hillkirk will share his perspective on higher education and Penn State Berks, reflect upon his tenure as chancellor, and offer lessons learned from his years in higher education. 

Penn State Berks LionSide Chats are a modern interpretation of former U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Depression-era “Fireside Chats.” These webinars provide current and timely talks from college faculty and staff experts on a variety of topics and disciplines.

The one-hour webinars (30 minutes of content, 30 minutes discussion/questions) are free and open to the public. All LionSide Chats will be delivered via Zoom webinars. A complete schedule of talks and recordings of past LionSide Chats are available on the LionSide Chats website.
