2021-22 Administrative Fellows Program informational session to be held Nov. 11

Past fellows will field questions from interested applicants about upcoming program, application process and mentors.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — An informational session about the 2021-22 Administrative Fellows Program will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, via Zoom. The meeting is designed to allow past fellows to field questions from interested applicants in reference to the upcoming program, its application process, and its mentors.

The Administrative Fellows Program offers Penn State faculty and staff the opportunity to work with senior University officers to gain insight pertaining to the challenges of leadership in the academic community. Fellows increase their understanding of the contexts within which decisions are made and gain an enhanced understanding of the various units across the University. Applicants must hold full-time, standing positions or fixed-term positions with at least five years of service.

Mentors for the 2021-22 academic year will be Nicholas Jones, executive vice president and provost; Lora Weiss, senior vice president for Research; and O. Richard Bundy, vice president for Development and Alumni Relations. The program begins in early August and ends the following July.

If you are interested in attending the informational session, RSVP to Wendy Blumenthal on or before Monday, Nov. 9, by e-mail at wjy100@psu.edu.

More information about the program is available on the website for the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs at https://www.vpfa.psu.edu/administrative-fellows/.
