UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State graduate students who are interested in water scholarship and research are invited to attend a fall kick-off meeting for an emerging water student group. The online event is scheduled for 4 p.m. Oct. 16. Interested individuals must register to attend the meeting.

Items on the meeting’s agenda include group governance, student leadership opportunities and goals for the group.

Devon Kerins is a graduate student member on the Penn State Water Council.

“The Water Student Group is intended for students from across different plans of study and departments who are interested and/or involved in water issues and research activities,” Kerins said. “We want to create a space where students can collaborate and share ideas, network, socialize, engage with the community in relation to water issues and find information on water events and research here at Penn State and the broader water community.”
