Three new COVID-19 surveillance testing sites announced at University Park

New, employee-only hours to be offered at two surveillance locations

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Three new COVID-19 surveillance testing sites will be open for Penn State employees and students on the University Park campus starting Oct. 7. These indoor locations replace previous University Park campus testing locations and expand services to include employee-only hours.

Penn State employees and students selected for surveillance testing should follow the instructions they received by email regarding their specific testing location, date and time, and proceed accordingly. Surveillance testing will be available by appointment only to employees and students from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, at three locations:

  • Beaver Stadium Nittany Lion Club (Enter at Gate A1).

  • Hintz Family Alumni Center (Enter through the main lobby entrance on the north side of the building).

  • Pegula Ice Arena (Follow entrance signage from the parking lot side of the building).

As a new service, the University has reserved times exclusively for employee surveillance testing, from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday at two of the locations: Beaver Stadium and the Hintz Family Alumni Center.

Exterior and interior signage is set up at each site to direct individuals to the correct entrances and pathways through the facilities. Access at all locations is restricted to the testing areas. Individuals are not permitted to walk through other areas of the facilities.
