UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Office 365 email users may have begun seeing "Your daily briefing" emails from Cortana@Microsoft appearing in their inboxes. The emails are designed to help users prepare for their meetings and tasks, as well as find suggested focus times for the day.

Information in the briefing emails is summarized from email and calendar data. No information is shared with, or can be accessed by, anyone other than the recipient.

Penn State Office 365 email users are opted-in by default to this new feature developed by Microsoft. Users can unsubscribe at any time.

To learn more about the briefing emails, please see the Office 365 - Cortana Email Messages Knowledge Base article.
