Alumna and 2020 Pulitzer Prize finalist next in Journalism Speakers Forum

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — An award-winning photojournalist and Pulitzer Prize finalist will be the third speaker in the Journalism Speakers Forum, featuring weekly speakers during the fall semester at Penn State.

Penn State alumna Erin Clark’s presentation will continue the series at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 via Zoom. The series of special guest presentations was coordinated by Will Yurman, the Norman Eberly Professor of Practice in Journalism in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.

Clark has been a staff photographer for the Boston Globe since 2018. She has covered the 2020 presidential race, a family fighting for stable housing, educational inequalities in Boston Public Schools, and the coronavirus pandemic, among other stories around the country.

After graduating from Penn State, she earned her master of arts degree at Ohio University, where she was named Ohio College Photographer of the Year.
