Fleming is the co-director of WorkLink, a post-secondary certificate for individuals with intellectual disabilities. She is the principal investigator of the Rehabilitation Services Administration long-term training grant to support students pursuing a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and a future career in vocational rehabilitation. Fleming’s research interests include employment and post-secondary outcomes for youth and adults with disabilities, the role of psychological resources, belonging, and inclusion in success in school and at work, and quality of life. Her professional counseling experience was providing vocational rehabilitation services and training vocational counselors and staff in best practices in employment services and supports.
