UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State police officers are hosting nine virtual public safety sessions between Aug. 26 and Aug. 28 for students at University Park.
The sessions will be conducted in an open Q&A format, and police officers will answer public safety questions from Penn State students .
Advance registration is required.
During the 30-minute sessions, officers will be prepared to address a number of topics, such as the Bicycle Education and Enforcement Program and Pennsylvania laws.
“We are fully committed to continuing our engagement with our community during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said University Park Deputy Chief Stephanie Delaney. “The virtual sessions are opportunities for Penn State students to learn about public safety preparedness and ask any public safety questions while helping us stay connected with the community that we serve and the community that we are a part of.”
