Penn State Lehigh Valley to host virtual admissions events

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State Lehigh Valley will host virtual admissions events through Zoom for prospective students this fall.

Admissions Overview Sessions are available for current high school juniors and seniors, but open to all students who are interested in Penn State. Students will learn how to apply to Penn State, explore the majors offered, and hear about the University-wide 2+2 Plan, where students can start at Lehigh Valley and finish at another Penn State campus. A virtual tour of the campus will be shown as part of these sessions. The admissions overview sessions will be offered starting Sept. 8:

  • Tuesdays from 3 to 4 p.m.
  • Fridays from 10 to 11 a.m.

Application Workshops will be held for students ready to apply to Penn State. Students will see what the Penn State application looks like and receive helpful tips from the admissions team to use when applying. Admissions staff will be on hand after the presentation to answer questions. Students will receive an application fee waiver for attending this event. The workshops will be offered starting Sept. 9:

  • Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Transfer Thursdays will be held for those interested in transferring to Penn State from another college or university. During the virtual program, students will learn about how to apply, the transfer evaluation process and get their questions answered by a transfer admissions counselor. A virtual tour will be shown as part of the program. The programs will be offered starting Oct. 1:

  • Thursdays from 12 to 1 p.m.

For all virtual events, students must register in advance and will receive a link to the session via a confirmation email.
