For several years, the Penn State football team has made a surprise summer visit to Penn State Children’s Hospital and the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. This year, because of COVID-19, the Nittany Lions spread cheer virtually through a special Facebook Live event on July 14.
Through Facebook, players and coaches read books and played games with patients. Meantime, other players used Zoom to visit privately with inpatients at the Children’s Hospital and Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
