UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — To help plan for a successful transition back to in-person instruction this fall, Penn State’s leadership is asking students to complete a single-question poll in LionPATH regarding their intentions about returning to campus.

The “Keep Learning” poll will be distributed through LionPATH to all undergraduate and graduate students across the University, with the exception of students in Penn State World Campus. Students will receive an email prompt by July 1 to answer the poll, and they will be asked to complete the poll by July 8.

The question seeks to determine student plans for the fall.

The poll is strictly an informational poll for planning purposes and does not change the respondent’s official enrollment status. Information gathered from the poll will be shared within the University to help campuses, colleges and departments develop plans that will help better serve students — whether they are on campus or taking classes remotely this fall. Students may indicate in the poll that they plan to return to campus and then decide at a later date that they plan to stay home, or vice versa.

Penn State will adopt a flexible approach to teaching and learning this fall that includes a mix of in-person, remote and online instruction, as well as stringent efforts to mitigate risk in classrooms and co-curricular activities.

More detailed information about the fall semester will be available at  keeplearning.psu.edu. Students are encouraged to check the website often for more information. Critical information and key resources related to the University’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic are also available at virusinfo.psu.edu, and this site will continue to be updated throughout the summer.
