WYOMISSING, Pa. — Penn State Berks will hold a series of webinars throughout the month of June for both accepted and prospective students, providing participants with an opportunity to ask questions and connect with campus experts.

Engineering Labs Virtual Tour Webinar – 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 10

Penn State University is one of the top-ranked engineering schools in the world, and Penn State Berks is proud to be the only college in Berks County that offers fully accredited engineering baccalaureate degree programs. Whether you are planning on majoring in one of Berks’ four-year degree programs – mechanical engineering or electro-mechanical engineering technology degree – or you're completing the 2+2 program (spending the first two years at Berks and completing one of Penn State’s many engineering degrees at another campus), you will be spending a lot of time and conducting hands-on research in our state-of-the-art LEED gold-certified Gaige Technology and Business Innovation Building. Join us for a virtual tour of our engineering labs in Gaige with one of our engineering faculty members. There will be a live question-and-answer session with faculty, staff, and current Berks students.

Honors Programs at Berks Webinar – 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 17

At Penn State Berks, students who want to challenge themselves academically have two different honors program opportunities: the world-renowned University-wide Schreyer Honors College and the Penn State Berks Honors Program. We invite you to learn how to be accepted into either program, the similarity and differences between the programs, and all the benefits of being an honors student at Berks. This webinar will be hosted by our honors coordinator, Sandy Feinstein, and some of her outstanding Berks honors students.

Before the webinars, prospective students can review the Experience Penn State page to find additional online resources, answers to frequently asked questions and information about next steps in the admissions process.

In addition to these events, prospective students can schedule a one-on-one virtual visit with an admissions counselor to get answers to individual questions.

For more information, contact the Penn State Berks Office of Admissions at 610-396-6060 or email Erica Pulaski at epulaski@psu.edu.
