College of Engineering Learning Factory Capstone Design Showcase — May 1-8. Senior engineering students will present their capstone design projects.
Institute of Energy and the Environment/Stewarding Our Planet's Resources Community Forum — 1 p.m., May 7, via Zoom. A community webinar will share reports and flash talks from the IEE and the Stewarding Our Planet's Resources initiative.
Online De-Stress Fest — Through May 8. The Penn State University Libraries is offering a curated list of links, tutorials and homegrown videos showcasing the talents of the Libraries' faculty and staff as part of its annual De-Stress Fest.
Institutes of Energy and the Environment/Stewarding Our Planet's Resources Community Forum — 3 p.m., May 13, via Zoom. This second forum follows up the May 7 community forum discussing future plans for the Institutes of Energy and the Environment and Stewarding Our Planet's Resources.

"Reflections on Sustainable Energy Transition in the Age of COVID-19" — 12:30 p.m., May 7, via Zoom. Wei Peng, assistant professor in the School of International Affairs and in civil and environmental engineering, and a faculty affiliate in law, policy and engineering, will be featured as part of Penn State Law, Policy and Engineering's "Technology, Policy and Law during COVID-19" virtual speaker series.
Dean's Lecture Series: Perspectives on the Pandemic — M. Daneile Fallin — 4 p.m., May 7, via Zoom. M. Daniele Fallin, the Sylvia and Harold Halpert Professor in Mental Health at Johns Hopkins University, will present "Mental Health and the COVID Pandemic."
"Immigration in the Time of COVID-19" — Noon, May 11, via Zoom. Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia, Samuel Weiss Faculty Scholar and clinical professor of law at Penn State Law, and founder and director of the Center for Immigrants' Rights Clinic, will be featured as part of Penn State Law, Policy and Engineering's "Technology, Policy and Law during COVID-19" virtual speaker series.
Spring 2020 Water Faculty Meeting — 2-4 p.m., May 11, via Zoom. The event will feature lightning talks and breakout sessions about water-related interdisciplinary research, education and outreach.
"Empty Shelves at the Store? Food System Disruptions and COVID-19" — Noon, May 14, via webinar. Penn State Extension is offering a webinar that address consumers' concerns about food shortages and will offer suggestions on alternative places and methods for sourcing food.
"SARS-CoV-2 and Teletravel Imperative" — Noon, May 14, via Zoom. Martin Pietrucha, professor of civil engineering and faculty research associate in the Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute and faculty affiliate in the Rock Ethics Institute, will be featured as part of Penn State Law, Policy and Engineering's "Technology, Policy and Law during COVID-19" virtual speaker series.

Online Thesis Exhibition: Zsuzsanna Nagy — The HUB-Robeson Galleries presents the photography of Zsuzsanna Nagy, a second-year master of fine arts in photography student.
"African Brilliance: A Diplomat's Sixty Years of Collecting" — Through May 24, http://exhibitions.psu.edu/s/african-brilliance/page/welcome. A presentation of a wide-ranging selection of African art from the collection of Ambassador Allen Davis, featuring art from West, Central and East Africa.
"Drawing on a Legacy: Highlights from the John Driscoll American Drawings Collection" — Through June 7, http://exhibitions.psu.edu/s/drawing-on-a-legacy/page/welcome1. The exhibition spotlights 30 watercolors and drawings from a diverse group of 19th-century American artists.
"Photography=Abstraction" — Through June 30, here. This virtual pop-up exhibition is an interactive gallery with images, text and informational videos for selected works. Once “inside,” explore by using your mouse or touch screen to click the navigational buttons included throughout the presentation as you tour the virtual gallery.
"Earth Archives: Stories of Human Impact" — Through Dec. 23, here. This new University Libraries online exhibition explores the intersection of the environment, human activity and the documentary record.
